Founded in 1989, AKE Safety Equipment is a market-leading fire safety equipment manufacturer and national sales company with a large network of dealers and sales representatives. We aim to provide our salespeople the opportunity to improve their lifestyle within a mission-driven organization, making a genuine difference for customers.
We are looking for confident, driven, experienced outside sales reps located in agricultural areas nationwide. Our sales representatives are road warriors, selling STOP-FYRE directly to farmers by driving farm-to-farm. Our representatives earn commissions on sales within their protected territory.
Our reps are compensated with a 100% straight commission structure and may receive significant weekly performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
Sell STOP-FYRE directly to farmers by traveling from farm to farm within a protected territory.
Develop new business by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities in agricultural communities.
Represent and promote STOP-FYRE and related fire safety products to customers with integrity and high customer service standards.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to team growth and company goals.
Qualifications
Our most successful Sales Representatives have many years of sales experience, strong selling ability, and know what to look for when selecting a company to represent.
Extremely competitive: they always expect to win.
Strong connection to the agricultural community (e.g., grew up on a farm, worked on a farm, or regularly conducts business with farmers).
Background in construction and/or excavation is a plus (e.g., worked in construction, sold to the construction industry, or owned a construction business).
Entrepreneurial mindset: independent, self-driven, and business-minded.
Committed to helping others and often have experience in roles serving the public (e.g., firefighter, law enforcement, military, or EMT).
Performers: proven sales success and capability.
Willing to learn and trainable with openness to new ideas.
Ambitious with a no-excuses attitude and a desire to succeed.
Independent, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision.
Passionate about the customer, product, and team.
