General Description / Purpose:
Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern IL is currently seeking a BBB Business Relations Coordinator to join our team. The Business Relations department is comprised of two teams. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, supporting business relations specialist, and fostering lasting relationships with accredited businesses We are looking for a team-player who possesses excellent communication skills, is organized and detail oriented. This position requires a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Managers on Pre-check all applications submitted by sales reps to ensure all required information is collected and there are no major issues
Support Business Development Team: Assist sales specialists with documentation, reporting, and follow-up tasks to help them meet performance goals.
Generate reports to measure the performance of sales activities, lead conversion rates, and overall sales results.
Gather and analyze sales data, preparing regular reports for sales managers or senior leadership.
Provide any logistical support to the sales team to help them meet their targets.
Support the business development team with research on competitors, market trends, and potential leads.
Update business relations rep’s weekly scorecards
Update business relations rep’s monthly performance management scorecard
Additional duties and projects assigned by the Managers
Maintaining sales call library
Departmental open roles viewing Resumes and Pre Screen’s
Ideal Candidate
Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with business owners and internal teams.
Team Player: Willing to collaborate, support others, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Ethical & Dependable: Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and reliability.
Adaptable: Open to coaching and able to implement new strategies and techniques.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in standard office software and CRM systems.
Outbound Calling/Phone Sales" or "Cold Calling.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in sales support, coordination, or a related administrative role (phone sales experience a plus).
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Data Entry experience and technically savvy
Be highly self-motivated, organized and dependable
Possess a high degree of professionalism
Can handle sensitive information and documents with confidentiality
High school diploma or higher.
Compensation & Benefits $19 per hour; $37,050 per year
