Position Overview
Our client is seeking a
Business Development Representative (BDR) / Senior BDR
to join a fast-growing commercial team. This role will focus on driving client engagement, expanding existing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across a global client base. The Business Development team plays a key role in growing platform usage within both new and existing accounts, working closely with internal research teams to support client needs and business initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Articulate the firm’s value proposition and suite of research services to prospective and existing clients Identify and develop new business opportunities within target accounts Build and manage relationships with users across investment management firms and consultancies Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and other channels Drive lead generation efforts and convert prospects into active users Manage and track account activity, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities Collaborate cross-functionally to support client engagement and growth initiatives Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance (finance, economics, or related fields preferred) 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role Proven ability to operate in a competitive, target-driven environment Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients Exposure to financial institutions, consulting firms, or professional services environments is a plus Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Ideal Candidate Profile
Commercially driven with a strong interest in sales and client development Confident communicator with a polished and professional presence Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative Results-oriented with a positive and competitive mindset
