Graphic Designer

The Women’s Ice Hockey Team at Virginia Tech is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop engaging visual content and support the team’s brand. Responsibilities: Design graphics for social media, game promotions, and team announcements Create game day posts, score updates, and highlight visuals Collaborate with the media team to maintain a consistent team brand and aesthetic Assist in developing promotional materials for recruiting, events, and sponsorships Qualifications: Experience with design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) Strong creativity and attention to detail Ability to work within brand guidelines and meet deadlines Interest in sports design or hockey What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in sports graphic design Opportunity to build a professional portfolio Creative freedom and real-world branding experience This is an unpaid, volunteer-based position.
