Staging Manager & Lead Designer
to join our team. This role is structured as a
two-phase transition into a leadership position :
Training Period (First 6 Months)
– The selected candidate will work closely with our
Lead Stager and Designer , learning all aspects of the role. During this period, the position will be
hourly or stipend-based , depending on experience.
Full Leadership Role (After 6 Months)
– Following the training period, the candidate will fully transition into the
Lead Stager and Design Manager
position, moving to a
full-time, salaried
role with increased responsibilities and leadership over the staging division.
This position is ideal for someone looking to
build a long-term career in home renovations and home staging , gaining hands-on experience before stepping into a leadership role. This position is located in the Bethesda / Chevy Chase area. The warehouse is located in Kensington, MD. Job installations will be in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Position Overview The
Staging Manager & Lead Designer
will start by assisting in all aspects of staging operations, learning the logistics, creative direction, and execution of staging installations. Over the training period, this individual will gain expertise in:
Staging design and property preparation
Inventory management and warehouse organization
Scheduling and coordinating movers and staging teams
Client and agent communications
Logistics and procurement of staging materials
Upon successful completion of training, the intention is for the candidate to be invited to
assume leadership of the staging department , overseeing all staging operations, team coordination, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities Phase 1: Training Period (First 6 Months – Hourly or Stipend-Based)
Work alongside the
DRG Lead Designer , assisting with all staging installations.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the
staging warehouse and inventory .
Support the scheduling and coordination of movers and team members.
Shadow client and agent meetings to develop communication and strategy skills.
Gain hands-on experience with
logistics, procurement, and vendor relations .
Phase 2: Transition to Lead Stager (Full-Time, Salaried)
Take full creative and operational leadership over
all staging installations .
Oversee
warehouse management, inventory tracking, and purchasing .
Manage and schedule
staging teams and movers
to ensure seamless execution.
Serve as the
primary client-facing representative
for staging, collaborating with real estate agents and homeowners.
Maintain relationships with vendors, oversee procurement, and ensure inventory quality.
Qualifications
Experience in
home staging, interior design, or a related field
(portfolio required).
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to balance
creative design with operational efficiency .
Excellent communication and leadership skills --
this role requires working with agents, clients, and vendors.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
but not required.
Ability to handle the physical demands of staging, including
lifting and moving furniture .
Experience in
warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics
is beneficial.
