Technical Writer

This Technical Writer job is a 12 Months Contract with a client located in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite every week).

Pay Range: $44/hr - $46/. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description

• We are seeking a technical writer to support a technology infrastructure team by producing clear, concise and executive ready powerpoint materials.
• The role focuses on translating complex technical strategy and program updates into high quality presentations for senior leaders and external audiences.
• The successful candidate should have a proven track record of producing executive level documentation within large scale IT organizations, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Expert level powerpoint skills and an ability to understand and communicate complex infrastructure concepts are key.
• Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines, responding effectively to last minute changes.
• 5+ years experience as a technical writer
• Demonstrated experience producing executive ready powerpoint presentations within an IT environment
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure
• Ability to quickly grasp complex architectural and operation concepts and translate them into clear accurate narratives and visuals
• Familiarity with common enterprise IT frameworks and concepts
• Expertise level proficiency in powerpoint
• Experience or exposure to mainframe technology
• Experience with large scale transformation or modernization efforts within IT
• Experience working within regulated industries e.g. banking
