Role Overview This role plans, directs, and coordinates campaigns for the online marketing of the organization's products and services. The Paid Media Specialist will execute the implementation of online marketing goals in the paid advertising space on social media to ensure share of market and profitability. This position will focus on managing digital marketing advertising across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Pinterest, and TikTok, with a primary focus on advertising for the reservations website.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute online marketing plans and programs, including website utilization and maintaining the company’s presence in social media advertising spaces.
Manage existing advertising campaigns and participate in new ones, with an emphasis on Paid Social Media Advertising in META (Facebook), Instagram, and other opportunities.
Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities for the web presence, including direct acquisition, seasonal offers, lead generation, and loyalty enrollment campaigns.
Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and advertising factors to capitalize on market opportunities and improve return on ad spend (ROAS).
Work closely with strategists, copywriters, and the brand and design team to launch new ads and maintain current campaigns.
Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing web-based campaigns.
Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs to ensure timely adjustment of marketing strategy.
Prepare and deliver online marketing activity reports.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years of hands‑on paid search media management experience, including launching paid social media campaigns in Facebook/META/Instagram. Experience in an agency or brand team environment is required. Candidates should be comfortable working with budgets of $100K a month or more.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of advertising across Google Ads and Facebook Ads, including impressions, ad optimization, and campaign optimization. Proficiency with keyword research tools and basic Google Analytics is necessary. Familiarity with Facebook (META) campaigns, audience usage, and pixel tracking is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the hospitality, hotel, or timeshare industry.
Familiarity with emerging social media ad spaces such as Pinterest and TikTok.
Experience with vacation package campaigns.
