Position Summary
As our Digital Marketing Operations Specialist, you will own and drive ESI's company-wide marketing efforts. Working directly with the CIO and collaborating across Product, Sales, Service, and Parts departments, you will take ownership of both the strategy and hands-on execution of our digital campaigns.
This is a high‑autonomy role where you will be the dedicated marketing professional for the organization, with the ability to shape how marketing supports our sales efforts and strengthens the customer experience. You will manage our e‑commerce content and marketing automation platforms, serve as the primary marketing contact for department managers and external vendors, and turn business objectives into effective campaigns. Success here requires a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves mentality, sharp judgment, and a clear understanding of how marketing operations translate into measurable business results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and execute marketing initiatives across a variety of digital and traditional channels, including e‑commerce, email campaigns, sales process automation, and new product launches
Implement tailored B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to effectively engage both our wholesale and consumer audiences
Build and maintain marketing automation flows within our platforms, such as new customer welcome sequences, promotions, and product information updates
Maintain accurate and engaging product catalog and content listings across all e‑commerce platforms, including pricing, descriptions, and promotional codes
Operate campaign and data utilization strategies within the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Klaviyo, NetSuite, Google Workspace, Magento, BigCommerce, and Shopify
Conduct market research and regular competitor analysis to identify new marketing opportunities and inform decision‑making
Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance, providing insightful recommendations for improvement
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact, collaborating closely with all departments to identify, develop, and execute marketing tactics that support company‑wide goals
Manage relationships with external vendors and agency partners, coordinating the creation or delivery of digital marketing assets
Requirements

At least 3 years of direct, hands‑on experience in a digital marketing, e‑commerce, or marketing operations role. A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
Demonstrated experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo), marketing automation systems (e.g. HubSpot), and e‑commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify)
Experience working with an ERP system (e.g. NetSuite) for inventory visibility, CRM, and transactional data is a strong differentiator for this role
Familiarity with paid digital advertising (e.g. Google Ads), SEO fundamentals, and emerging practices like LLM/AI search optimization
Ability to use analytics data (e.g. Google Analytics, ERP reporting) to measure results and inform decisions
A highly proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to take ownership of projects, seek out information from stakeholders, and connect the dots across teams
Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver consistent work
Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in creating, proofreading, and publishing content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency across all channels
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and building marketing processes from the ground up. Experience as a first or sole marketing hire, or in an environment where you owned outcomes end‑to‑end, is a strong plus
