Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an Executive Sales Coach. This role is responsible for coaching partners and senior lawyers on effective selling, driving accountability for business development commitments, and actively advancing opportunities through an established structured sales process-with the goal of growing revenue, expanding existing client relationships, and winning new business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Vice Chair, Practice Group Leaders and Business Development Directors to identify areas of opportunity

  • Coach partners and senior lawyers on sales execution and business development commitments

  • Deliver structured, high-quality sales coaching programs that reinforce the firm's established sales methodology for partners and senior lawyers

  • Strengthen lawyer accountability to produce consistent, measurable sales outcomes

  • Partner with business development and client teams to improve processes, conversion rates, and the client experience

  • Support customized client and prospect presentations and responses to high-level proposals and opportunities

  • Provides individual coaching, team building, and facilitation of group training

  • Lead formal coaching presentations at firm-sponsored professional development academies

  • Support leadership and change management related to growth initiatives

  • Customize coaching to the legal industry's regulatory and cultural context

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant legal industry and/or business development experience

  • In lieu of bachelor's degree, 19 years of relevant legal industry and/or business development experience

  • Juris doctor highly preferred

  • Experience in a law firm required

  • Deep expertise in sales coaching or revenue leadership within professional services

  • Demonstrated understanding of law firm economics and business development

  • Proven track record of creating successful business development plans and coaching law firm partners in business development

  • Ability to create immediate credibility and rapport with senior level law firm management, stakeholders, and marketing and business development professionals

  • Excellent executive coaching and training facilitation skills.

  • Ability to link coaching to measurable business outcomes

  • Exceptional communication, credibility, and presence with senior professionals

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, or ability to learn tech stacks quickly

  • Work collaboratively with teams within and outside the department to drive and delivery on projects and competitive sales opportunities

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, by deadline, under pressure, and produce measurable results

  • Promote and demonstrate our business principles of quality, unity, and integrity
