Salary Range $60,000-$80,000 + bonus (commensurate with experience)
Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Coordinator to support a commercial real estate sales team which focuses on the sale of shopping centers and single tenant assets throughout the mid-Atlantic, and commercial properties in Washington DC. This role will be critical in managing transactions from origination to close, ensuring deadlines are met, documents are accurate, and communication flows smoothly among all parties. Tasks will include market research and analysis, compiling and summarizing detailed market and property information, data management, and transactional management of the sales process. The ideal candidate is eager to support the growth of an expanding sales team and is highly organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about commercial real estate processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with research & marketing departments to generate high-quality offering materials and strengthen team branding in the marketplace
Research, understand, and write property specific narratives for Broker Opinions of Value (BOV) and Offering Memoranda (OM), to be shared with clients and investors
Track sales comparables, buyers and sellers, and market intel in the mid-Atlantic market
Act as the point of contact with clients for receipt and organization of due diligence information
Maintain organized transaction files, public facing due diligence rooms, and update internal CRM systems
Manage vendors relationships, including photographers and website providers, to enhance listing presentations
Review and extract pertinent information from third party due diligence information such as leases, appraisals, and environmental reports
Enhance existing procedures through learning industry specific software, standardizing practices, and improving efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years of experience or learning in commercial real estate or related field
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/transaction management software
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s Degree Required – Real Estate, Finance, or Business-related field of study preferred
