We are expanding our content marketing team and seeking a highly creative and experienced Brand Designer to join us.
The Role: As a Brand Designer at Skan AI, you'll be instrumental in defining and advancing our brand presence across global markets. Working closely with the Head of Content Marketing, you'll develop and bring to life creative concepts that connect with our audience and establish our reputation as an industry innovator. Success in this position demands flexibility within our dynamic work environment and seamless coordination with team members across time zones, particularly our New York headquarters.
We're seeking a passionate designer who is always following trends and keeping one step ahead of the pack. We want someone who will push our creative boundaries and ensure that every brand interaction embodies the sophisticated, forward-thinking essence of Skan AI.
The work you’ll do: Creative Leadership - Shape our visual identity and apply brand standards across diverse marketing materials and brand initiatives—from social media content and event collateral to e-books, digital and print pieces, and promotional items.
Brand Guardian - Serve as a primary steward of Skan AI's brand standards, maintaining uniformity, quality, and visual impact across all creative work from the Bangalore team while partnering effectively with creative colleagues worldwide.
Delivery Excellence - Manage the complete creative workflow from initial briefing through final handoff, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality with minimal direction needed.
Visual Communicator - Transform intricate technical concepts and business messaging into engaging, visually striking narratives that are both accessible and memorable.
Market Awareness - Keep pace with emerging design trends, platforms, and developments in the agentic AI landscape, consistently identifying ways to elevate our creative work and stay ahead of the market.
The qualifications you need: 5+ years of experience in design, preferably within technology, SaaS, or B2B environments.
A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional communication skills, excellent taste, interesting designs, and versatility across channels (print, digital, web, live events, presentations).
Ability to work quickly and independently while incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
Ability to explore and create outside of your design language comfort zone, using AI tools as a way to assist, rather than for final outputs.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD). Experience with Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX design tools is a plus.
Strong grasp of brand strategy and the ability to translate strategic goals into impactful visual communications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly and persuasively to non-designers, and the inverse – take vague direction and run with it to create stunning work.
Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
A keen eye for detail, typography, color, and composition.
