Join the Volunteer team at Heritage Farmstead Museum! Choose from a variety of positions. Public Tours:
Thursday-Saturday only; shifts 10am-12pm and/or 12pm-2pm Visitor Center Host
Greet visitors, sell admission tickets and gift shop items
Grounds Guide
Answer questions about the history, buildings, and livestock
Wilson HouseDocent
Tour visitors through the house discussing the history and artifacts in each space
Education Programs:
School Tours : select Tuesday-Friday; 9:30am-12:00pm; Feb-May and Sept-Oct
Guide hands‑on farm activities such as feeding chickens, washing clothes, reading stories, and teaching schoolhouse lessons.
Little Farmer Fridays : select Fridays 9:30am-12:00pm; Spring and Fall only
Preschool children and parent program with hands‑on activities, as stated above, with the addition of crafts
Homeschool Day: May 13 10am-12pm Summer Camp Counselors : June and July
High school students assist with Summer Camp children in K-5th grade
