Director of Design – Data Centre Projects | Texas (Hyperscale Delivery)

We’re supporting a leading international contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across Texas.

They’re looking to appoint a Director of Design to take ownership of design delivery across a growing regional pipeline.

This isn’t a coordination role — it’s a leadership position shaping how design integrates into project delivery from early stage through to execution.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading design strategy and delivery across multiple hyperscale data centre projects
• Managing internal and external design teams (CSA + MEP)
• Driving coordination between design, preconstruction, and project delivery
• Influencing programme, buildability, and technical standards
• Acting as the senior design voice across the Texas region

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience in data centre or mission-critical design delivery
• Background in contractor, EPC, or developer environments
• Strong leadership across multidisciplinary design teams
• Ability to operate at both strategic and project level
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, live project environments
