
Customer Account Coordinator (MCR Safety)

MCR Safety Group, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a
Customer Account Coordinator.
This position is primarily responsible for performing customer service activities and sales support on product information and goods purchased. The duties and responsibilities of a Customer Account Coordinator (CAC) include managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries, along with identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a business-to-business environment.

Responsibilities:
Process customer purchase orders/inquiries via our on-line system
Provide product price and availability
Provide cross reference for competitor lines
Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
Identify opportunities to up-sell additional products
Expedite/backorder reporting
Open order reporting
Function as liaison between MCR Safety customers and Sales team to exceed customer needs. This requires daily interfaces with all internal team members via email and phone.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Work directly with customer personnel to facilitate shipping schedules, material requirements, order changes, tracking of shipments, and lead times
Stay up-to-date of all customer account processes
Support all Inside Sales, Sales and Customer Service activities, including order entry, order management, order acknowledgement, order status updates to customers
Stay active with our on-line CHAT system
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years Business to Business, account management or related experience required
Previous customer service experience required
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems highly preferred
Experience working with EDI order entries preferred
Data entry proficiency required
Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
