
Summer Marketing Internship

The Summer Marketing Intern supports the Marketing Manager in executing digital marketing initiatives, website content updates, and brand storytelling efforts. This internship provides hands‑on experience in content strategy, web management, digital communications, and campaign support within a professional environment.
Essential Duties
Update website pages with new content, images, and layout adjustments using the company’s content management system (e.g., WordPress).
Maintain site structure to ensure content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards.
Conduct quality checks for formatting consistency and content accuracy.
Write, edit, and proofread content for blogs, landing pages, social media platforms, and marketing materials.
Assist in development of digital assets, including graphics and short‑form videos.
Support development of content calendars and scheduling of posts.
Ensure marketing materials align with established brand voice and visual identity standards.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new content ideas and website improvements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Current enrollment in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Web Design, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated writing and editing ability.
Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Exposure to social media platforms and digital analytics tools.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of stationery and working at a computer.
Occasional standing, walking, and moving materials up to 10 pounds.
