Account Manager – Large Business (Commercial Lines)
A well-established insurance agency is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Account Manager to support and manage a large commercial book of business. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality service.
What You’ll Do
Manage a large commercial book of business (typically $30K+ in premium per client) across standard carriers and excess lines brokers
Process new business, renewals, and policy changes with accuracy and efficiency
Review and ensure appropriate coverage placement based on client needs and risk exposure
Advise clients on coverage options and identify opportunities to round out accounts
Support Sales Executives by preparing documentation and providing account insights
Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificates/evidences of insurance
Respond to daily client service needs including billing questions, policy changes, and coverage inquiries
Maintain strong organization and follow established agency workflows and procedures
What You Bring
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (required)
3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Agency Management Systems
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus
Bonus/commission potential , including 20% finder’s fees on cross-sold or referred accounts
