Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Event Lead / Barista Lead role located in Boonton, NJ. The role involves managing event operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading barista team members in preparing and serving specialty coffee at events. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating the mobile coffee bar, engaging with clients and guests, troubleshooting any on-site issues, and ensuring smooth execution of events. The Event Lead / Barista Lead collaborates with the team to maintain product quality and create memorable customer experiences.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients, guests, and team members.
Barista skills and familiarity with specialty coffee preparation and equipment operation.
Experience in customer service with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety guidelines.
Ability to lead a team effectively, problem-solve under pressure, and manage on-site event logistics.
Flexibility to work varying hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on event schedules.
A passion for coffee and creating meaningful customer interactions is highly valued.
