Cashera Private Credit provides business loans of $750K+ to growing companies.
We are expanding our private credit platform and seeking a proven business
development leader to drive new deal flow and build our BD function.
Head of Business development and partnerships. Cashera's distribution strategy is the difference between a $10M loan book and a $100M loan book. We are hiring our first Business development& Partnerships to build the channels direct SMB, ISO network, and embedded SaaS partnerships that bring creditworthy borrowers to us at scale and at a sustainable cost of acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage our ISO (independent sales organization and broker channel from the ground up.
- Identify, negotiate, and activate embedded lending partnerships with vertical SaaS platforms (accounting, payroll, field service software)
- Own the direct SMB sales motion: inbound lead handling, outbound prospecting, and conversion
- Manage and grow a small account executive team as the channel scales
- Track and report on CAC, conversion rate, channel mix, and loan book contribution by source
- Represent Cashier Instant at SMB and fintech industry events
- Partner with Marketing on campaign strategy and lead quality feedback
What we need
- Has sold financial products directly to SMB owners — knows the objections, the sales cycle, the trust-building required
- Has built or managed an ISO or broker channel for a lending or fintech product
- Has closed at least one meaningful B2B distribution or SaaS partnership
- Data-driven — you live in a CRM and track your funnel religiously
- Comfortable in an early-stage environment where you're building the playbook, not following one
Nice to have
- Prior experience at a competing SMB lender: OnDeck, BlueVine, Fundbox, Kabbage, Credibly
- Existing relationships in the ISO / commercial finance broker community
- Experience selling into or partnering with vertical SaaS platforms
- Spanish language skills — many of our target SMB borrowers are Hispanic business owners
