About the Role We are looking for a motivated
Collections Specialist
to join a leading financial services organization focused on private education loans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, negotiation, and customer interaction in a fast‑paced environment.
Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts
Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication
Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances
Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities
Provide professional and empathetic customer service
Perform skip tracing to locate hard‑to‑reach customers
✅ What We’re Looking For
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency
Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings/weekends)
Preferred Background
High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
0–1 years of collections or customer service experience
Experience with CRM tools / collections systems
Knowledge of debt collection regulations is a plus
8 AM – 5 PM
10 AM – 7 PM
12 PM – 9 PM
(Shift assigned based on business needs)
