Hybrid AR Supervisor – Real Estate Property Management

Douglas Elliman Property Management , the premier property management company in real estate property management, is looking for a full time Accounts Receivables Specialist. With over 400 managed properties in our portfolio, using advanced accounting systems, technologies, and best practices to assist our clients. Manage AR colleagues, timely and accurate bookkeeping of cash applications, billing, and refund procedures, troubleshoot issues as needed. Work with Co-Supervisor on enhancements for processes and reporting to Sr VP of Accounting. Review & approve the refund of move-in deposits held via Domicile payment portal. Communicate with shareholders and collaborate with Property Managers and Executive Committee members on AR issues & discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Scanning and posting physical check payments received, coordination with Financial Analysts to ensure proper coding. Occasionally assist in outstanding items on monthly bank reconciliations. Accomplishing accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Working daily during the week will be hybrid (3 days in office) for this full-time position. Accounts Receivables Supervisor Qualifications / Skills: Experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or property management accounting. Familiarity with property management software or advanced accounting systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Yardi 7s or similar knowledge. Familiarity with BoardPackager/Domecile payment processing a plus. Microsoft Teams communications and processing tasks. Prior accounts receivables experience in real estate industry – Rentals experience required, Condo/Co-Op experience a plus. ClickPay or 3rd party payment solution experience.
