Social Media Marketing & Graphic Design Internship (Fall 2026)

Description of Job Duties Coaching and mentorship in marketing strategy and social media management will be provided. This position is flexible and can be tailored to the selected candidate’s skills and interests. Potential responsibilities include:
Create visually engaging social media, digital, and print materials for the CCPD.
Contribute to the development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance the center’s online presence.
Schedule and publish content across various platforms.
Work with the team to monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Produce creative and engaging content for different audiences.
Collaborate with team members to align content with departmental goals.
Research industry trends and propose innovative content ideas.
Assist CCPD staff with related projects and events.

Job Qualifications
Must be enrolled as a student at North Central College.
Demonstrate an interest in graphic and visual design (experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva preferred).
Must be available for at least 8 hours per week.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Commitment to equity and inclusion for all students.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Will this position be working with minors?
No
Approximate number of work hours per week: 6-8. This internship can be eligible for the CARD 300 field experience requirement, provided that the intern works at least six hours per week to meet the 90-hour field hour requirement.
