The Field Reimbursement Director is responsible for the execution of the reimbursement strategy with the goal of ensuring optimal access with specific products. This role leads and manages activities of Field Reimbursement Managers within a regional footprint, ensuring team achievements, meeting regional metrics/service level requirements, and ensuring all goals are met compliantly and fiscally responsibly. The Director participates in select client, national, regional, and local strategic meetings, as well as leads meetings with their respective team.
Responsibilities
Hire, motivate and coach field reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior.
Lead a field reimbursement team to ensure goals are met to support product access within targeted accounts.
Work with Field Reimbursement Managers on a consistent basis, evaluating coaching and directing local business plans/presentations.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of experience as a Manager/first line leader with demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate, coach, lead and execute strategy.
Minimum two years of experience in public or private third party access arena or pharmaceutical industry managed care or patient support.
Desired Requirements
Experience in Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and/or Dermatology products preferred.
Experience working with IDNs and Health Systems.
Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors, as well as Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems a plus.
