About the Role Based in our San Jose office, you will develop and deliver training on industrial products (photolithography equipment). You will prepare lesson plans, partner with customers and internal members to implement training, and maintain equipment in the cleanrooms and training facilities to ensure availability for training and demonstrations.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with course development and training skills. This position requires full‑time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory.
Your Impact
Conduct user training on Photolithography products both in‑house and at customer sites
Provide classroom and laboratory training for internal and external customer courses that includes operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment
Develop new internal and external technical materials
Revise existing materials to ensure they are current and accurate
Verify accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs
Provide detailed presentations on technical topics
Operate and maintain training facilities and equipment; prepare the instructional site in the San Jose facility
Participate in discussion groups to share technical information and enhance knowledge of less experienced colleagues
Contact customers to discuss training needs and obtain feedback on current training programs and systems
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3‑5 years of related work experience
Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, maintenance, and photolithography equipment is preferred
Prior experience as a technical trainer is preferred
May require up to 50% travel within the US; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Ability to work flexible shifts
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical Demands & Work Environment The worker is required to have close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading, visual inspection of small defects, small parts, and machine operation. Work is performed in an office environment and also in cleanroom environments (wearing full cleanroom suit, facemask, gloves, and safety glasses).
Compensation Anticipated base salary: $70,310 – $103,770.
