Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and format communications including company announcements, social media posts, and employee updates

Translate complex topics into content that is easy to understand and visually engaging

Create polished materials that support executive communication, including presentations, talking points, and supporting visuals

Support planning and communications for company meetings and events, including preparation of presentation materials and supporting content for All‑Hands meetings

Create visually engaging materials that enhance understanding and reinforce key messages, including graphics, presentations, quick‑reference guides, digital content, and branded materials

Assist with development and coordination of branded merchandise to support company initiatives, events, and employee programs

Maintain consistency in tone, formatting, and visual presentation across communication materials

Support ongoing improvements to communication channels to increase engagement and usability

Help maintain editorial calendars and ensure timely delivery of communications across internal and external channels

Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements to strengthen effectiveness of communications

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field

Strong attention to detail, including formatting, grammar, and brand consistency

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences

Demonstrated ability to create polished, professional materials that combine clear messaging with strong visual presentation

Experience with swiftly interpreting feedback or concepts and executing accordingly

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook

Highly organized with the ability to manage concurrent projects and deadlines

Strong collaboration skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting communications within a fast‑growing or operationally complex organization

Experience supporting the launch, management, and ongoing maintenance of an intranet

Experience creating visual communications using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools

Experience designing professional‑quality presentations, graphics, or infographics

Experience using Rippling, Monday.com, and/or Claude.
