Position Overview Lakeland Fire + Safety is a global leader in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), dedicated to protecting workers in demanding environments through safety, innovation, and operational excellence. As our Fire business continues to grow, we are investing in building a strong marketing pipeline to support key partnerships, product initiatives, and long‑term expansion. The Marketing Development Program role is designed for highly motivated junior or senior undergraduate students interested in gaining hands‑on experience in product marketing, campaign execution, and cross‑functional project coordination. This role is structured to provide meaningful ownership of marketing initiatives, while working directly with product marketing to support critical initiatives tied to new program development. Offering exposure to real‑time business priorities, there will be opportunities to contribute ideas, participate in strategic discussions, and help drive execution of marketing deliverables that directly impact Lakeland’s expanding fire business. This development opportunity is best suited for individuals who are proactive, organized, and comfortable taking initiative in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Essential Duties + Responsibilities ISP Marketing

Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for assigned ISP companies

Lead meetings, including agenda development, note‑taking, and follow‑up actions

Develop and execute marketing tactics aligned to partnership goals and business priorities

Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure initiatives are executed on schedule

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain alignment and momentum

Campaign + Initiative Execution

Develop marketing copy and messaging for partnership‑driven campaigns and initiatives

Own execution of tactical marketing efforts, including social media content, email campaigns, and related assets

Manage content calendars and coordinate scheduling across platforms

Partner with Product Marketing to support broader campaign strategy, messaging alignment, and go‑to‑market execution

Identify opportunities to enhance partnership visibility and engagement through new tactics or channels

Project Coordination + Digital Support

Support project timelines and deliverables across internal stakeholders and external vendors

Organize and track marketing assets, approvals, and project status updates

Support website updates and content management in WordPress

Assist in development of marketing materials and assets for product launches and key initiatives

Required Qualifications

Actively pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

Demonstrated experience through internships, leadership roles, or academic projects managing marketing initiatives or campaigns

Comfortable communicating with stakeholders and participating in project meetings

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines

Proactive problem solver who is comfortable developing ideas and proposing solutions

Ability to professionally represent the marketing team in meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience drafting marketing copy and layouts for social media and email campaigns

Familiarity with social media calendar management and scheduling tools (e.g. HootSuite)

Proficiency with website platforms, such as WordPress

Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g. Asana)

Experience with photography and/or videography

Physical Requirements + Work Environment

Ability to sit, stand, and move within an office environment

Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing, filing, scanning, and general administrative work

Standard corporate office environment

Frequent interactions with other departments such as Sales, Customer Service, and Operations
