About the Role: The Consignor Relations Assistant is a hands‑on role supporting our Consignor Relations Department in preparing merchandise for sale, assisting with authentication, processing returns, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position is ideal for someone detail oriented with a passion for luxury fashion and resale.
Key Responsibilities Item Cleaning & Preparation
Clean and prepare incoming luxury apparel, handbags, and accessories to ensure they are camera ready for live shows, online listings, and retail storefronts
Inspect items for wear, damage, or flaws and communicate any concerns to the Consignor Relations and Intake & Pricing teams
Handle high value merchandise with exceptional care and attention to detail
Submit items to third‑party authentication services (e.g., Entrupy, LegitGrails)
Track authentication statuses and follow up on pending verifications
Organize and maintain authentication documentation
Consignment Returns
Prepare unsold or unaccepted items for return to consignors
Locate and organize items designated for return
Ensure all returned items are clean, neatly packed, and accurately labeled
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and business needs
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Ability to work effectively in an open workspace environment and contribute positively to company culture
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with other colleagues
Proactive problem solving skills and detail‑oriented mindset
Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Comfort and professionalism in a studio environment where models are changing during Live Shows
Proficiency in using and learning software applications and digital tools relevant to the role, including inventory management software and internal communication platforms
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and reaching
Capable of lifting and moving boxes or inventory up to 30 pounds
Genuine passion for fashion and luxury resale
The Refind offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and industry standards for the Seattle market. The pay range for this role is $25 to $28 an hour and employees are eligible for quarterly bonuses. We are committed to fostering a fun, supportive, and engaging work environment.
