Graphic Designer-Sign Industry

We are hiring an
Experienced Sign Industry Graphic Designer — and this is NOT an entry-level or general design role.
Saltwater Signworks is a fast-growing, high-volume sign company known for producing
clean, sharp, and creative signage . We are looking for someone who can move quickly, think clearly, and execute accurately — while still bringing a strong design eye to the table.
⚠️ If you do not have real sign industry experience, this is not the role for you.
What you MUST have
Minimum
3+ years designing signage
(monument signs, channel letters, cabinet signs, post & panel, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator (required)
Proven experience creating
Client proofs
Scaled drawings
Permit / submittal-ready drawings
Strong understanding of
sign construction, materials, and layout requirements
Ability to work
fast, accurately, and independently
in a high-volume environment

Add
creative input when it matters
Elevate layouts beyond the basic standard
Still keep projects moving without overcomplicating the work
Bonus (not required)
Experience preparing
production-ready files
Familiarity with fabrication and installation processes
This role is NOT for
General graphic designers without signage experience
Logo/branding-only designers
Entry-level applicants
