Job Description The Senior Video Producer is responsible for leading the end-to-end production process across a wide range of creative mediums, ensuring clarity, quality, and calm execution from concept to delivery. This role partners closely with creative leadership, internal clients, and production teams to manage workflows, schedules, resources, and expectations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The producer brings structure and forward momentum to the creative process, balancing strategy and execution while managing studio capacity and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors. The Senior Producer is comfortable navigating the ebbs and flows of production, stepping into editing or hands‑on roles when needed, and keeping projects moving forward with excellence. A full‑time position, primarily worked Monday‑Friday, with occasional weekend services as required. All Mariners staff are expected to work during Christmas Eve and Easter services, and to participate in Rooted once a ministry year. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Responsibilities Production Leadership & Project Management

Own the full production lifecycle: pre‑production, production, and post‑production

Manage project intake and act as a gatekeeper to ensure scope, timelines, and resourcing are clear

Maintain and oversee the production calendar across video and photo projects

Partner with the Creative Director, Production Director, and department leads to plan and execute content effectively

Uphold high creative, technical, and storytelling standards across all deliverables

Studio Management & Capacity Planning

Manage the operations of Mariners onsite studios, including Studios A, B, and C, all green room spaces, hospitality and reception areas, and the Pastor Study—covering capacity planning, scheduling, upkeep for hosting guests, and arranging catering when required

Partner with internal clients to coordinate and manage their studio bookings

Ensure studios are production‑ready and used efficiently

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and support staff videographers, helping them grow in skill and confidence

Coordinate crew, talent, and schedules across multiple projects

Foster clear communication between clients, crew, and talent

Step into editing or hands‑on production support during high‑volume seasons

Vendor & Partner Relations

Partner with outside vendors and freelancers as needed

Manage vendor communication, scheduling, and expectations

Ensure external partners align with Mariners’ creative and production standards

On‑Set & Production Support

Prep and coach talent for on‑camera success

Manage teleprompter operation

Scout, book, and schedule locations

Coordinate equipment build‑out and tear‑down

Handle production logistics such as craft services when needed

Qualifications

8–10 years of demonstrated experience in field and studio production environments

Experience managing schedules, crews, talent, resources, and studio space

Proficiency with project management tools Asana and review platforms Frame.io

Ability to direct talent and collaborate cross‑functionally

Working knowledge of filming, audio capture, lighting, and editing

Ability to edit video and audio, incorporating music and B‑roll as needed

Comfortable producing across multiple formats and platforms

Thrive in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment
