We operate in a demanding environment with high standards. When the Friday truck leaves, everything must be accurate, labeled correctly, and accounted for.

The Role: Fresh Packaging Lead This is a hands‑on leadership position.
Responsibilities
Work in the Fresh Packaging area daily
Package and label product
Lead and organize the fresh packaging team
Ensure quality, food safety, and accuracy
Keep the area on pace and on standard
Important:
New hires should expect to begin as a Fresh Packaging Team Member to learn our standards, systems, and culture before stepping into the Lead seat. Advancement is based on performance and demonstrated leadership.
What You Are Accountable For
Daily Execution
Organize and perform packaging activities
Ensure all orders match cut sheets/work orders
Check and verify label accuracy
Hit daily shipment deadlines
Quality & Food Safety
Maintain strict food safety standards
Prevent labeling errors
Protect product integrity
Address issues immediately, effectively, and proactively
Team Leadership (While Working)
Lead by example on the floor
Train new team members
Reinforce standards
Maintain a focused, positive work environment
Manage overtime within guidelines
Cross‑Department Coordination
Communicate clearly with other departments
Assist other departments when needed
Identify and address issues immediately
What Winning Looks Like
Orders ship complete and correct
Packaging errors are rare
The team knows the plan every day
Overtime is controlled
The packaging area is organized and efficient
Problems get solved, not repeated
Work Environment
Standing up to 10 hours per shift
Cold temperatures
Exposure to fully cooked, heat treated, and raw meat products
Moisture and machine noise
Lifting up to 50lbs frequently
Fast‑paced physical production work
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work hard in a physical environment
Ability to lead while doing the work
Strong organizational and communication skills
Dependable, positive attitude
Willingness to learn EOS‑based accountability
Preferred:
1+ year production or factory experience
Order fulfillment experience
Informal or formal leadership experience
