
Customer Experience & Social Engagement Specialist

We’re looking for a commercially driven, customer‑facing professional to engage with customers while they are in our service department and create opportunities to acquire quality used vehicles.
This is a hybrid role combining in‑person customer interaction, digital engagement, and vehicle acquisition. You will use tools like SkiaVision to identify opportunities, start conversations, and guide customers toward selling or trading their vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively engage customers in the service lane to discuss vehicle value and upgrade opportunities
Use SkiaVision and internal tools to identify acquisition opportunities in real time
Build rapport quickly and position our dealership as the easiest place to sell or trade a vehicle
Work closely with sales and service teams to convert opportunities into purchases
Maintain accurate activity tracking and follow‑up

Responsibilities
Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
Qualifications
Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & consulting pricing
Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed and working in a team environment
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the position are MEDIUM in intensity.
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
Constant - Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing.
Frequent - Repetitive motion.
Occasional - Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20 lbs.
Physical Working Conditions
This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership.
