A new dog themed musical – concert presentation. Set in England in the 1950s.
Tone: Intimate, doo‑wop inspired storytelling (think Waitress meets vintage vocal groups)
Location: Cherry Hill area
Performance: April 30
We are seeking strong singer-actors for the following roles:
Female (Lead) (cast but accepting understudy) Female-presenting, 20s–50s
Warm, expressive, quirky energy. A caretaker who longs to be seen.
Male-presenting (20s–50s) Gentle, intelligent, quietly in love.
Vocal style: soft pop/legit tenor
PRIYA (Supporting) (Cast but accepting understudy) Female-presenting, 20s–40s
Bright, thoughtful, emotionally perceptive. Actors of South Asian descent encouraged to submit.
Vocal style: contemporary musical theatre, expressive, soulful presence. This role carries deep emotional weight.
Seeking a low, resonant voice (bass, baritone, or alto preferred)
ENSEMBLE All genders, all backgrounds encouraged.
Will play townspeople, dream sequences, and vocal groups.
Especially welcoming performers who love animals and storytelling.
This is a concert presentation with potential future development.
Small stipend.
