Our intent is to disrupt the industry without being disrespectful to the sport and its rich traditions.*G/FORE is seeking a Men’s Associate Designer to join our Design Team in Raleigh! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate, innovative team leading the golf and activewear industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.***ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Creating technical sketches with construction call outs* Owns initial TP set up and lifespan maintenance* Making print pitch sheets with color and print technique call outs* Assist in coordinating and completing special assignments and projects as required* Collaborate with various staff including Design Management in creating boards, color cards/decks as needed* Assists Design Team and Management in miscellaneous tasks such as filling, organizing, scanning, and photocopying when needed* Lab dip/ submit review* Vendor communication* Attend fittings and partner with technical team on garment fits & adjustments**COMPETENCIES*** Ability to generate fresh ideas and translate them into compelling designs* Works effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners* Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Approaches challenges with resourcefulness and adaptability* Strong understanding of design tools and garment construction* Ensures accuracy and consistency in all aspects of design work* Clear and professional in both verbal and written interactions**DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*** Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design / Production* 2+ years of experience preferred in related field* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)* Basic knowledge of garment construction and materials* Garment CAD skills* Strong attention to detail* Must be a very flexible/adaptable, a fast learner and can manage in a fast-paced environment* Good verbal and written communication skills*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!**Peter Millar & G/FORE are equal opportunity employers.
