The Business Test Lead is accountable for end‑to‑end business testing strategy, quality outcomes, and go‑live readiness for complex, cross‑functional programs spanning the full customer journey. This role serves as the single point of accountability for release confidence, ensuring that customer‑critical and revenue‑impacting journeys are validated, risks are clearly understood, and business outcomes are met prior to launch.
Partnering closely with Product, Program, Engineering, and Business stakeholders, the Business Test Lead aligns testing decisions with customer experience expectations, revenue protection, and delivery commitments. The role operates with significant autonomy, applying deep testing expertise, business acumen, and judgment to guide quality decisions for strategic initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategy & Planning
Define, own, and execute the business test strategy for assigned strategic programs, with a strong focus on customer‑critical and revenue‑impacting journeys. Provide strategic input into the enterprise business testing / UAT framework and playbook, partnering with peers and leadership to continuously improve testing standards and practices. Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality checkpoints. Execution & Delivery
Serve as the end‑to‑end owner of business testing across products, platforms, and teams, including shared capabilities and cross‑program dependencies. Define and validate business acceptance criteria in partnership with Product and Business teams. Coordinate test cases, environments, timelines, defect triage, and remediation activities to support predictable and high‑quality delivery. Ensure appropriate functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and accessibility test coverage. Risk, Readiness & Reporting
Provide clear and timely visibility into testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness. Communicate business risk and quality outcomes to support go / no‑go decisions at program milestones. Independently identify, assess, and elevate quality risks that could impact customer experience, revenue, compliance, or delivery commitments. Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Drive continuous improvement through quality metrics, retrospectives, and lessons learned. Mentor and guide less experienced testing and business partners on UAT best practices and quality mindset. May lead testing workstreams or act as the business testing lead for large, high‑impact initiatives. What you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of progressively complex business testing / UAT experience, preferably supporting digital, eCommerce, or customer‑facing platforms. What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of business testing experience supporting enterprise‑scale digital or eCommerce platforms Experience contributing to or owning a business testing / UAT framework or playbook Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery models Experience supporting releases with revenue, compliance, or customer experience risk Exposure to performance, security, and accessibility testing considerations Prior experience leading testing workstreams for strategic or transformational programs We Offer:
