Fund/Structured Finance Counsel - Global Ratings Agency (NYC or Chicago)

We are currently partnered with a market leader in private credit who is looking to bring a Fund/Structured Finance Counsel on to join their team focused on private credit and fund finance transactions.
This individual will be working closing with rating analysts and playing an important role in the rating process, working across a wide variety of structures such as feeder fund rated notes, CFOs, NAV facilities, and CLOs. This team is closely and uniquely integrated into the rating process and plays a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of published ratings.
Responsibilities: Review financing and fund-level documents Identify legal and structural risks with potential credit implications Collaborate with analysts and participate in rating committees Support production of market-leading ratings and research
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate Degree 4-6 years of experience specifically within Structured or Fund Finance Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines Strong analytical, research and communication skills
