Broadcast Engineer Sr. Student Associate

Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS

Purpose: The Broadcast Engineer Student Assistant will contribute in ensuring the technical success of the broadcasts and videoboard shows during Texas Athletic events, in addition to assisting with other duties on non-event days.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup of broadcast equipment such as, but not limited to, cameras, monitors, and audio equipment for Texas Athletics Videoboard shows and ESPN Broadcasts.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment during non-event days.
• Game and event tasks include but are not limited to serving as an Audio Engineer, Video Engineer, and Field Engineer.
• General office duties include but are not limited to: transporting, testing and setting up broadcast equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $10/hour

Working Conditions:

• Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
• Use of manual dexterity
• Climbing of stairs
• Climbing of ladders
• Constant movement in inclement or extreme weather
• Some heavy lifting may be required
• May work around standard office conditions

Work Shift: Varies; Will include nights and weekends
