WWBT 12 On Your Side is the Gray-owned NBC-affiliated television station located in Richmond, serving Central Virginia and beyond; embodying excellence, innovation, and community commitment. We fulfill our "On Your Side" brand promise through quality news, programming, and information across all media platforms. Richmond (DMA 56), the capital of Virginia, is located on the incredible James River and offers a wide range of cultural and historical attractions.

WWBT 12 On Your Side, the #1 news organization in Richmond, VA, seeks a full-time producer for on-air and online. Must have solid news judgment, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to perform well under pressure. Team player with the ability to work in an intense breaking news environment. Must be a strong writer for television and our station website.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • A successful candidate must have solid news judgment, possess strong leadership skills, and be able to excel in a breaking news environment.
  • The successful candidate will produce newscasts for TV as well as our digital platforms and social media.
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills, work well with others, have a college degree, professional digital and social media experience, and a firm grasp of SEO techniques.
  • Work schedule may include days, nights, and weekends.
  • Previous experience required.
