Experienced Sprayer/Finisher - Cabinets
FULL TIME | $20 - $26/HR
Job Summary We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a full-time position in our finish team. This is year-round, consistent work. The finisher/sprayer will be responsible for finishing a variety of cabinet parts and components. The finisher/sprayer will also set up, operate, and maintain spray guns/machines.
Duties/Responsibilities
Working knowledge of paint equipment and application.
Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
Maintain equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently.
Minimize waste of raw materials as well as work in a clean and tidy manner.
Must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and steady hand-to-eye coordination.
Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and must be willing to comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities
Prior experience is required.
Excellent attendance is required.
Attention to detail and quality of work produced.
Ability to learn to spray to a color/quality standard – must successfully complete a spray test.
Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and in the necessary time frame.
Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.
Hours and overtime dictated by production, including daily and/or weekly (weekend) overtime.
Education and Experience
Prior wood painting experience is a MUST, 5 years minimum.
Stain matching experience is a MUST, 2 years minimum.
Wipe & spray application experience is a MUST, 2 years minimum
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
