The Parts Counterperson is responsible for greeting customers in a professional and courteous manner and selling parts and accessories.

Responsibilities
Provide accurate and professional service to Walker Automotive customers
Ensures all items are billed out and priced correctly
Utilizes all resources in obtaining parts to fill all order requests while maintaining sound business practices and excellent CSI
Either special orders or locates parts that are not in stock at time of order
Maintains lost sales
Follows up with customers during the order process keeping them informed as to the progress of their order
Expedites delivery of parts to the customers using available resources
Answers the phone promptly and courteously
Promotes additional sales through product/technical knowledge and associated selling techniques ensuring customer satisfaction and maximum profitability
Abides by company policies and procedures
Keeps assigned work area neat and clean
Keeps all catalogs and parts information up to date
Assists in taking perpetual and physical inventories
Assists in putting stock awayFills in for other employees as necessary
Attends training seminars/classes in or away from the dealership as necessary
Attends department/dealership meetings as scheduled
Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Have quality customer service skills
Outgoing personality with a great attitude
Clean a clean & valid driver's license
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends!
