Graphic Designer II (Marketing-Focused / Multidisciplinary) Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Graphic Designer II is a mid-level creative role responsible for producing and overseeing graphic design projects across print, digital, environmental, and experiential touchpoints. The role learns the business, understands target audiences, and designs in direct support of marketing strategy, messaging, and organizational goals. It manages annual campaign creative collateral, visually relaying messaging to drive interest and elicit response, and participates in group functions such as brainstorming and event marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and produce visual assets across print, digital, environmental, and experiential applications in support of marketing initiatives

Interpret customers' design needs into feasible graphic design ideas and information; provide recommendations in the graphic design process; develop a strong understanding of the company’s business model, customer segments, and marketing objectives to guide design decisions

Coordinate with design team and facilitate the production of advertisements and other media display projects while ensuring a precise match to original requirements; participate in the collection of customer needs for graphic design work and give suggestions to senior management on the implementation of strategic plans for graphic design

Execute work confidently within established creative direction while actively contributing ideas that improve clarity, craft, usability, and effectiveness; stay abreast on technological advances within the field

Conceptualize ideas and execute designs; accurately and efficiently design advertisement products or services within specific deadlines

Develop and deliver graphic design work and visual materials utilizing specific graphic design, web development, and animation/sound processing tools

Manage the overall quality of artwork to ensure that advertisements and other media products are in line with accessibility, brand, and quality standards, and applicable laws consistently across all work

Maintain organized files, documentation, and version control to support collaboration and long‑term asset management

Participate constructively in critiques and cross‑functional discussions, incorporating feedback and helping projects move forward efficiently

Research and share creative resources, tools, or workflow improvements that strengthen team effectiveness over time

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with 3–5 years of graphic design experience

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Creative thinker

Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high‑quality work

Self‑starter; able to set priorities and work with minimal supervision

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to work individually or in a team environment

Ability to take direction and constructive criticism well

Experience designing for email marketing with a strong understanding of email strategy, user experience, accessibility and performance considerations; familiarity with no‑code email platforms and modular template systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an in‑house, corporate, or marketing‑driven design environment

Proficiency in Figma

Working knowledge of web and user experience design principles

Strong understanding of print production processes, including vendor coordination, proofing, and quality control

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with marketing, content, and business partners

Experience or interest in 3D modeling, spatial, or environmental design

Demonstrates a clear understanding of the business, audience, and marketing goals behind each project and can articulate the rationale behind design decisions

Executes independently within established creative direction while contributing ideas that improve outcomes

Applies accessibility, brand, and production standards correctly and consistently

Manages assigned projects end‑to‑end, meeting deadlines and maintaining organized working files

Collaborates effectively with internal partners and vendors to deliver polished, production‑ready work

Shares resources, process improvements, or small system enhancements that make the team more effective over time

Compensation Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
