Position Graphic Designer
Location Global Headquarters, Nicholasville, KY
Department Marketing
Reports To Senior Design Manager of the Americas
Job Summary The graphic designer will work as part of an award-winning design team on projects including print publications and collateral, digital and media assets, product packaging and trade shows and events.
Required Skills/Abilities
Expert with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
High level page layout/design skills (flyers, brochures, booklets, ads) Digital skills/experience demonstrated in a portfolio submitted at time of application
Duties/Responsibilities
Being an innovative thinker and agile problem solver with the ability to work independently
Working within teams to conceptualize, design and produce marketing and communications materials for digital and print
Assisting in building a stronger team by developing relationships and utilizing excellent communication skills
Showing attention to detail by ensuring brand consistency of visual identity across media/platforms
Managing your time to meet deadline and execute numerous projects simultaneously
Coordinating with vendors on projects from quotes through delivery
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Education and Experience
BA or BFA in Graphic Design or related field
5 years’ professional experience as a graphic designer
Expert with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
High level page layout/design skills (flyers, brochures, booklets, ads)
Experience producing PowerPoint presentations
Experience designing for social media and digital advertising (including GIFs)
Experience with Adobe XD, and html, CSS a plus
Experience with package design a plus
PORTFOLIO REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION. PLEASE SUBMIT PORTFOLIO WITH RESUME. This can be in the form of a website link, pdfs or other digital samples.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
