Assistant Designer Position
Iberia Fashion is hiring an Assistant Fashion Designer to support our women’s Junior, Young Contemporary, and Missy lines. This is an entry level(1+ year experience is enough) and ideal for someone who’s trend-aware, organized, and ready to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced wholesale environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist in reviewing and organizing incoming samples
Measuring and documenting fit samples at every stage of approval
Regular communication with overseas factories to support the production lifecycle at every stage
Creative/trend/color research and development of presentations to support sales meetings
What We’re Looking For
Positive can do attitude and an interest in becoming an integral part of the team
1+ year experience in fashion design (internships count if you can show strong work)
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills (presentation, flats, print placement, clean-ups)
Working knowledge of technical design basics (garment construction, fit terms, measurements)
Trend-savvy with a strong eye for the Iberia customer (Junior / Young Contemporary / Missy)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work on multiple styles at once
Comfortable using AI tools as part of your workflow
