This role is for someone who knows how to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling stories, and how to earn trust and credibility in serious conversations. Responsibilities

Own FANCO’s social presence end-to-end Run a multi-channel social media program that builds brand awareness, industry cred, and long-term audience growth. Translate FANCO’s core themes into platform-native content that educates, differentiates, and occasionally delights. Maintain a consistent, confident brand voice across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, and YouTube while tailoring tone and format by platform and audience. Create content that’ssmart, creative, and human Own content calendars, campaigns, and daily publishing. Manage a small team of junior writers and partner with design and video teams to produce high-quality, platform-native content (short-form video, carousels, explainers, reactive posts). Identify moments in news cycles, policy updates, and in cultural conversations where FANCO should show up clearly and credibly. Engage with social community in real-time Monitor conversations, brand mentions, and industry trends. Engage thoughtfully with community feedback and questions, especially in nuanced or high-stakes discussions. Surface emerging narratives, risks, or opportunities and partner with marketing, communications, and government relations to respond with clarity and care. Use performance insights to keep improving Track performance and audience growth across platforms. Use data to refine content strategy, formats, and posting cadence. Share clear insights onwhat’sworking, what’s not, and where FANCO can lead next. Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally in the B2B, tech, energy, policy, or similarly complex industries. Experience managing and mentoring junior writers and content creators. A proven ability to grow engaged audiences, not just followers. Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an instinct for visuals and short-form video. Comfort managing reputation and engaging thoughtfully with a social community. Experience with social management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Buffer) Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and juggle multiple priorities without losing strategic focus. A genuine curiosity about science, technology, or the energy industry and a willingness to keep learning. Why This Role

This is a full-time role based in Carmel, Indiana. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Regular, in-person collaboration at our Carmel headquarters is required to support cross-functional partnership and real-time decision making. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $90,000, plus equity.
