About the Role Nelson Mazda Murfreesboro is seeking a

modern Sales Manager

to lead in a

one-price, one-point-of-contact sales environment . This is not a traditional desk manager role—success here is driven by

people, process, and customer experience , not negotiation.

This position requires a leader who can

develop talent, maintain high energy on the floor, and build a culture where customers choose to buy because of how they’re treated—not the price.

What You’ll Do Lead & Develop People

Coach and develop Client Advisors to elevate performance and customer experience

Provide real-time feedback, role-playing, and daily accountability

Build a culture centered on growth, ownership, and professionalism

Drive Energy & Responsiveness

Maintain a

high-energy, highly visible presence

on the sales floor

Stay actively engaged in deal flow, customer interactions, and team support

Ensure fast, consistent responsiveness to leads and showroom traffic

Own the Customer Experience

Support and elevate customer interactions when needed

Ensure a

transparent, pressure-free, and efficient buying experience

Reinforce a relationship-driven approach that builds trust and loyalty

Enforce Process (Without Killing the Experience)

Hold the team accountable to CRM usage, follow-up, and sales processes

Balance structure with flexibility to keep interactions natural and engaging

Identify and correct process breakdowns quickly

Lead with Emotional Intelligence

Effectively read and respond to both customers and team members

Coach through challenges, manage conflict, and build trust

Create an environment where people feel supported and pushed to improve
