Head Of Sales

With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers. CMX's Leadership team is seeking experienced Head of Sales to help build and manage a team of vertical industry professionals to lead the CMX monetization strategy for our brands. Key responsibilities: Build and owns the Monetization org-wide sales strategy and builds a culture of collaboration to achieve revenue goals within the fiscal through the creation and execution of plans to achieve internal annual objectives working with partners in Marketing, Operations, Product and Partnerships Developing the sales strategy for all vertical industries with a minimum sales target for each, finalizing revenue targets for each account and their subsequent pod Recommending broad approaches and areas of opportunities to meet the targets and long-range plans to senior leadership and team: highlighting areas of concern or bottlenecks to the leadership team Understanding the industry strategy across other departments (for example, marketing, eCommerce marketing, and Stores) Partnering with internal and external stakeholders (merchandising heads, general managers, senior partners of suppliers, agencies, and marketers) to drive the business forward. Builds, leads, and develops a team with a minimum team size by providing direction and guidance to associates on career development; Conducting weekly meetings, providing constructive feedback to associates to enhance skills, knowledge, brand perception, institutional knowledge, and work performance; conducting performance and career development conversations; engaging and mentoring less experienced managers and associates. Oversees and is responsible for financial results in area of responsibility Oversees the JBP planning process and market rollout Driving a cross-team/functional workstream; tracking against key performance metrics; creating a playbook for the industry in partnership with other industry managers; crafting conference-worthy case studies that demonstrate the approach, solution provided, success story, and results achieved by the marketer. Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: 131,500 Maximum: 297,250 Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. Required Qualifications 10 years' experience in advertising sales, advertising, sales, or related field Experience developing the sales strategy for all vertical industries with a minimum sales target for each, finalizing revenue targets for each account and their subsequent pod Understanding the industry strategy across other departments (for example, marketing, eCommerce marketing, and Stores) Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders (merchandising heads, general managers, senior partners of suppliers, agencies, and marketers) to drive the business forward. Strategic, creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their teams. Proven ability to manage/scale businesses in these verticals and have the capability to manage and motivate a small but high-performing team. Consistent management experience as well as extensive experience selling or buying cross-network online marketing solutions such as direct response, search, branding, integrated sponsorships, and display advertising. Experience working within a matrix organization as well as experience in leading, coaching and influencing people. Strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, a collaborative and innovative spirit, and be extremely comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
