Global Senior Category Manager (Sales)
As a Global Senior Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global category growth strategy. You will work closely with the Global Category Growth Director and cross-functional teams to unlock growth opportunities, drive innovation, and deliver value across all regions. This role is designed for a high-potential leader ready to operate at a global scale, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our business. This is a hybrid role based in the US in Chicago OR in Montreal, CANADA, but the team works remotely and collaborates across all regions. Position Overview / Job Scope & Core Deliverables: Support the development and execution of the global category vision and growth strategy, collaborating with regional and local teams. Lead and coordinate strategic category initiatives, including innovation launches, portfolio optimization, and best practice sharing across markets. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making. Partner with marketing, sales, and R&D to drive category growth projects from ideation to execution. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and business cases to senior management and external partners. Track performance metrics, report on progress, and recommend course corrections as needed. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement within the global category team. Profile And Experience: Proven experience in category management, marketing, or commercial roles within FMCG or a related sector: 7+ years Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working in a matrix and multicultural environment. Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to influence and drive results across functions and geographies. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. What We Offer: Base Salary: $160,000 - $170,000
