Our retail client in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a Graphic Designer/Content Creator to join their team!
This is an onsite/full-time/direct-hire position
Salary range based on experience: $50k-$65k
Summary
The Graphic Designer/Content Creator will support the creative execution of marketing and sales materials across our client's B2B wholesale business and growing DTC channels. Working closely with the marketing team, this role will assist in designing trade marketing assets, retailer kits, and evergreen materials such as catalogs and price books, while also creating engaging, low-fi video content for social platforms like TikTok and Reels (60% graphic design, 40% video design).
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys both designing polished materials and creating fast, authentic content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to brand consistency across channels while building skills in both graphic design and short-form video.
Design & Creative Support
Assist in the execution of day-to-day graphic design needs across B2B and DTC
Design trade marketing materials for print and digital publications
Help execute one-off design requests for retailers as needed
Video & Content Creation
Shoot low-fi, authentic content on iPhone (product, styling, behind-the-scenes, merchandising)
Edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms
Execute against content needs provided by the marketing team (this role is not responsible for content strategy)
Assist in repurposing content across social, email, and digital channels
Support the creation and updates of evergreen materials such as catalogs and price books
Support the design, updating, and uploading of creative assets for retailer kits and sales tools
Assist with visual materials that support retail promotions, launches, and trade initiatives
Ensure accuracy and consistency across retailer-facing materials
Brand & Owned Channels
Learn and apply brand standards across all creative projects and touchpoints
Support creative needs for owned channels and paid media
Assist with basic digital design needs for email, website, and e-commerce assets
Work closely with the marketing team to implement creative feedback
Help organize and maintain design files, templates, and asset libraries
Support efficient creative workflows by meeting deadlines and communicating project status
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years of graphic design and/or content creation experience (including internships or freelance work)
Strong foundation in design principles, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Experience editing short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Comfortable shooting and editing content on a smartphone
Ability to follow established brand guidelines and apply feedback effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Interest in branding, retail, or ecommerce; jewelry or fashion experience a plus, but not required
