About the Role We’re looking for aGraphic Designerto support the creation of merchandise, product graphics, and brand assets across Mello. This is a hands‑on execution role focused on bringing ideas to life quickly and at a high level of quality. You’ll work closely with our Senior Design Director and team to develop: Merch collections Packaging and supporting brand assets This role is ideal for someone who loves design, moves fast, and wants to work onreal, physical products- not just digital assets. What You’ll Do Merchandise & Graphic Design Create graphics for apparel and merchandise (tees, fleece, hats, accessories, etc.) Execute on merch concepts across full collections Develop layouts, typography, and placements for wearable products Prepare clean, organized files for production Ensure designs are technically sound for printing, embroidery, and manufacturing Work with the team to adapt designs across different product types Brand Support Assist with branding projects (logos, assets, simple systems) Create supporting visuals for packaging and product presentation Work closely with Creative Director and team to execute on direction Take feedback quickly and iterate efficiently Contribute ideas when appropriate, while staying aligned with direction Speed & Output Deliver high-quality work on tight timelines Balance multiple projects at once Qualifications/Experience 3–5+ years of graphic design experience Experience with apparel, merch, or physical product design is strongly preferred Skills Strong in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Strong understanding of typography, layout, and composition Ability to design for print and physical products Apparel/merch design OR strong graphic work adaptable to merch Good taste and attention to detail This role is not a fit if you: Struggle to work quickly or hit deadlines Cannot take feedback or iterate efficiently Rely heavily on templates or low-effort design Lack attention to detail in files and execution What We Look For: Strong Execution You can take direction and execute quickly and cleanly You care about the details - spacing, alignment, file setup, etc. Taste You have a good eye for what looks modern, elevated, and wearable You understand the difference between basic merch and something people actually want Speed + Reliability You move fast and consistently hit deadlines You can handle multiple projects without dropping quality Coachability You take feedback well and improve quickly You’re here to grow and level up your skills Team Player Low ego, high output Easy to work with and communicates clearly Salary & Benefits Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Opportunity to grow into Senior Designer role Work on real products with real brands Location Austin, TX (in‑person preferred with new HQ/warehouse) #J-18808-Ljbffr
