Role Overview The Director of IT will oversee and manage the company's information technology projects and initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, technical expertise, and team leadership to ensure the alignment of IT infrastructure and services with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps in line with business goals.

Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Oversee the delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.

Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure, ensuring they support scalable, secure, and efficient operations.

Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs while ensuring the efficacy of IT investments.

Oversee cybersecurity policies and disaster recovery plans, ensuring robust protection against IT risks.

Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels about IT-related matters.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development, project management, and policy development.

Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud services.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Advanced Knowledge of IT Systems & Infrastructure: Proficient in managing complex IT environments, including cloud services, network architecture, data centers, and cybersecurity solutions.

Project Management Tools & Methodologies: Skilled in using project management software (like JIRA, Asana) and methodologies (like Agile, Scrum, ITIL).

Cybersecurity Expertise: Deep understanding of information security principles, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and compliance standards like GDPR.

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Familiarity with SDLC processes, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Networking & Communication Protocols: Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN).

Cloud Computing Platforms: Experience with major cloud services providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Work Requirements The position is considered sedentary and requires extended periods of telephone and PC exposure.
