Part‑Time 15‑20 hours per week. Flexible hours, 3‑5 days/week
Non‑Exempt
Compensation: $20.00/hour paid weekly
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Position Summary Acenda's award winning Brand, Marketing, and Engagement team is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and detail-oriented individual for a Marketing & Communications internship. The ideal candidate will exhibit reliability, responsibility, and flexibility. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills as well as an understanding of professional communication methods. As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence‑based practice or EBP's.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support teams to plan, develop and execute marketing initiatives
Work alongside team members to complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
Assist with trending blog topic research
Assist with the creation of graphic designs for internal communications
Assist with performing competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity
Support in completing tasks for the agency's signature fundraising events
Other duties as assigned

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level program at a NJ Institute of Higher Learning in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
Attention to detail with solid copywriting and proofreading skills
Experience in writing copy for social media and/or graphic design skills are a plus
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
The employee must occasionally move about to accomplish tasks, adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
Ability to drive a vehicle
