Role Description The Community Relations Specialist is a full-time position based on-site in Laramie, WY. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships within the community, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and representing the organization in outreach and engagement efforts. Key tasks include coordinating community outreach initiatives, leading event planning activities, and ensuring consistent communication with community partners to promote Cathedral Home for Children’s mission and services.
Qualifications
Proven skills in Community Relations and Community Engagement
Experience in Community Outreach and building strong partnerships
Proficiency in Communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
Expertise in Event Planning and organizing community-based activities
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders
Knowledge of non-profit organizations and familiarity with youth mental health services is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking skills
